Of Boxes and Birdbaths

My stepmom came home today with a cat tree tall enough for the cats to look outside the back window to our birdbath. David, our resident "big baby" cat, won't relinquish the top spot. He's feeling selfish. XD

That, of course, doesn't stop the two newest additions to our household from attacking him for top tier. They are quite the energy fiends.

There is a HUGE box lying in the middle of our floor. It's amazing how we spend money on cat toys and other doodads, but nothing stops the awesomeness of a box.

I suppose the same rules apply for children.

I dunno if I mentioned last time about my decision to go to Sakuracon this year. But, I've already started on getting a group together. My only problem is, I SUCK at planning. Talk about feeling overwhelmed...

SOMEONE HELP ME!

I need to flesh out designs for three costumes, find the supplies necessary for making them, and get them finished by April 22nd...and that's not all...

I'm in dire need of an assistant...

Of Cell Phones and Crocheting

Hello world! Wow...it's been a while, hasn't it?
Well, let me do a quick update on life for you:
- Got a job at Michaels Arts & Crafts a little over a year ago, been working there ever since.
- Had a boyfriend for 7 and a half months. Now we're BFFs.
- Moved out of Beana's and into my parents' house.
- Still can't drive.
- Haven't been back to college since Spring 2009.
- Got a smart phone.
- Learned how to crochet. :)

So, I'm updating this blog from my phone via an app rather than text messaging, which seems to work better. I love my phone! It's super nice.

Oh! OH! My bestest buddy had a baby who is almost a year old now (holy crap). His name is Mars. I'm his godmother. :)

I've been crocheting a lot recently. Just learned how, so I'm an eager beaver. Gonna crochet Christmas presents and an afghan for myself! Yay!

Anyhow, I need to go to bed for I have to be up early for work tomorrow. AND I need some nom-noms.
